Preparing for a consultation in English
Write down what you want to discuss and when it started. Have the names of your medicines and any allergies ready. Ask the doctor to explain unfamiliar words.
Arranging an interpreter
Contact Travelers Hospital through its booking page with your preferred language and appointment time. Ask about availability, advance notice and the total fee. The published terms list a possible charge of ¥20,000 plus tax for non-English interpreting.
During the video call
Choose a quiet, private place and check your connection. Keep your questions and medicine packaging nearby. Confirm any instructions you are unsure about with the doctor or interpreter.
