The booking page lists a ¥5,500 after-hours surcharge from 17:00 when applicable and a ¥5,500 weekend / national holiday surcharge when applicable. For consultations in languages other than English, interpreting may cost ¥20,000 plus tax. Medicines are paid for separately at the pharmacy.

Can I consult from my hotel?
Yes. You need a phone or computer, a reliable connection and a private place for the video call. The doctor may recommend a clinic visit if you need an examination or test.
Is the service available in my language?
You can consult in English. For another language, ask Travelers Hospital about interpreting and the additional fee. The language of this website or the booking form may differ from the consultation language.
Will I receive medicine?
If the doctor prescribes medicine, Travelers Hospital will explain the pharmacy arrangements. Confirm where and when to collect it; stock and opening hours vary.
Can I cancel an appointment?
The current booking policy allows free cancellation until 30 minutes before the appointment. Cancellation within 30 minutes or a no-show incurs ¥11,000. For online appointments, the provider states that failure to enter the video room within 5 minutes after the appointment time leads to automatic cancellation and a ¥11,000 fee. Check the latest policy before booking.
Who provides the medical care?
Travelers Hospital and its clinical partners handle appointments and treatment. Japan Care Guide is operated by Cocktail, a referral agent.

Can credit-card travel insurance pay for my consultation?
