Hiroshima広島

Hiroshima Station and Hondori are different areas of the city. Miyajimaguchi is in Hatsukaichi, so choose that municipality when searching near the ferry gateway to Miyajima. Hiroshima University Hospital’s patient information asks first-time visitors to obtain a referral from a local medical institution. Do not assume that a large hospital accepts an unannounced visit.

Questions before booking

Does a 24-hour consultation mean I can collect medicine at any time?

No. A prescription depends on the doctor’s assessment. Collection depends on pharmacy opening hours and stock; confirm the pharmacy and timing with the provider.

Can I use my travel insurance or credit-card insurance?

It depends on the policy, covered treatment and claim requirements. Check with your insurer and keep your receipts and any required medical documents.

Will the doctor speak the language of this page?

This guide is translated. Travelers Hospital has English–Japanese bilingual doctors. Other language assistance must be confirmed with the provider; a translated page is not a promise of a doctor in that language.
